How refreshing - another New Face! Welcome to the "club", Emma! I really hope you'll have a great time with us, I'm sure we will with you!
Emma is living proof that one cannot judge the age of a person by the age of their children!! But you'll see what I mean when you all meet "Emma" for the first time!
Brooklyn's new school year of her course in Buddhism has just started in April, like all other schools, and Isabella and her got quite excited about Temple and priest's names! Emma & me were a little lost during that time!

Lot's of subjects today, the main one probably being the discussion of the perception that Japan is small (is it really?). I mentioned I believed that this country is "just about average", depending on what your guideline is: It's roughly the size of Germany, looking on the map that makes it similar also to France, Spain, the UK etc.....
The reason for Japan seeming small is its'  "inconvenient shape", and all the mountains sticking out all over the place! This limits the inhabitable space. And of course, there are too many of you!!
 (lol)

Today's story is about a charity, as due to the earthquake, "charities", "donations", and "volunteering" are frequently used terms these days:

And our cake, "pound cake" with a little spring-like shade (which on the picture is impossible to see!):

Well, thanks for coming, once more "a warm welcome to Emma", and see you all next week!
