The "Saturday Crowd" is beginning to form, today we had Catherine, Isabella, Isabelle (NOT a mistake - different origin!),
and Felix!

Isabelle was telling us about a interesting book she read about "making toasts" (NOT the process of heating up bread in the morning!), but the one which requires (at least) two glasses, and two thirsty persons! Nowadays, we associate the "cheers" with happy moments, like birthdays or weddings etc, but originally it was used as a "secret sign", which eventually lead to death! Spooky!
Catherine showed up after two weeks absence - hello! Glad you were fine!

Today's phrase is this one:

Have you ever made use of an internet cafe? No? Only English Cafes? Good girls (and boys).

And our cake, a really yummy apple & cinnamon combination:

By the way, we also talked about the Japanese custom of "Nengajo", and a little about the western
"Season's Greetings" cards - and you know what? Isabella & Isabelle have already POSTED their cards!
I haven't even bought mine!! Neither has Felix! Catherine's record is just a little better - she bought hers, but hasn't
started writing them yet!

Well, good luck to me, Felix, and all the others who still have to move their lazy butts!

See you,

The "Master"
