In a way, today was a little special, because a new member came in for a "trial". Why was this special? Well, because his name was Ian, from some Hebrew country. Yes, that's right, reinforcement for the male contigent! And he was kind of young, too! Maybe you ladies should come and "check him out", ha ha ha!
Saturday's members, Madison and Lindsey (both from England, they arrived together!) took excellent care of the new gentleman! I think we all had a good time - Welcome Ian, and please come back soon!

Our cake today didn't look too good (little accident on the way here!), but tasted all the better:

As you can see, it's missing the top! Sorry for that!

As we had a new member today, naturally our conversation drifted towards the "usual" questions - where do you live, what do you do for a living and so on. With the help of Lindsey & Madison I was also able to explain our Cafe's system
to the young man. Another interesting story was about Lindsey's trip to Vietnam & Cambodia, how she enjoyed, but was also sadly moved by seeing a lot of poor children (no shoes, ripped shirts) in those countries. She told us that in Vietnam the interest you get on your savings is about 10%!! That is incredible!! Take all your money to Vietnam - you will have doubled & tripled your fortune in no time!! But there is a catch, though: You must be a green card holder in order to open an account......now what? Any great ideas?
Ok, stop dreaming, and check out today's phrase:

So, are you all going to enjoy the Vancouver Olympics, which started off really sadly?

Thanks for coming
