A very crowded Tuesday welcomed our new, "young girl", Kelly today!
Hello, Kelly, welcome to the group, the team, the "club", the party! I'm sure you had a good time today, 'cause we noticed you smiling & laughing a lot! Great!
Thanks to our "veterans" Crystal, Abigail, Kelsey, Jade and Briana taking "good care" of Kelly, today's chat was a success!
Of course, also contributing to this nice day was the cake, "Apple Yogurt":

It was really juicy & delicious.

Now, please take a guess what we talked about the most today:
A - The Olympics in Vancouver
B - My "private Olympic" at Takasu Snow Park in Gifu
C - Michael Jackson

This is a picture of my son at the "Takasu Olympics":

We had great Weather. On the left, you can see a stupid snowboarder with extremely short legs!!

So, I guess you all know the answer to the quiz - yes, of  course, Vancouver. I was actually surprised how much our group was into the games, there was great excitement here today! In my case, although I really love snow & winter sports, somehow I can't get too excited this time. The reason for this is, that there's a cloud of misfortune hanging over the event: First, no snow. Second, the terrible, fatal accident. Third, the demonstrations against the games & capitalism as a whole (they do have a point, I think).

Other stories today: Briana's visit to a very suspicious, fishy book shop selling entirely English books somewhere in Motomachi, really expensive, too. And a little "MJ" for Kelsey, about the re-make of "We are the world", featuring a
dead guy.....

And of course, last but not least, today's "study material", a convenient slang:

Thanks for showing up, and we hope to see you soon, Kelly!

We all enjoyed your company
