Snow, that's what we call the white stuff falling from the sky when it's too cold up there to rain. Apparently, today happens to be one those days - it started to snow again!

I didn't expect anyone today due to this unusual weather - snow in March in this area is extremely rare, but - there she was! My life saver! My loyal Ms. Thursday (no, no that one, the other one!) came in through that strange, brown door of mine!

Erica! Hey, how nice to see you (I naturally felt).
And after talking a little bit about a typical season's "representative", Mr Ika Nago, it couldn't be helped that our conversation again swayed to Tohoku, the terrible earthquake, Tsunami, and mostly to the people suffering in the various emergency shelters. Hang in there, people!
Erica was comparing this disaster with the Hanshin quake, but also with her experiences during the second world war.

But - she also had some good news: She went to the the award-winning movie (4 oscars) "The King's Speech". It's about George the 6th's walking and speaking problem (he had knock knees [X-shaped legs], and stuttered). She really enjoyed her time at the cinema!

And to brighten things up, I prepared another list of "pet peeves" (Saturday team: DON'T read them too carefully, you'll get the same, ha ha ha!):

No image today of our cake for reasons you'll see next Saturday!

Thanks for being the "only one" two weeks in a row, Erica!
