It felt a little strange for me the last Cafe was a Saturday, then came Golden Week, and now it's Saturday again! I wonder how my little "Tuesday Girls" & "Thursday Girls" are keeping.....
Today, we could welcome yet another new member to the Cafe, and, guess what? A MAN! Hurray! Yipeeh! Everybody, say hello to Valentino - Hello, hello, hello, hello etc! Abigail, Kelsey, Catherine and Monica enjoyed being asked several questions by Valentino, and of course were asking lot's of questions in return. One of the main topics today was the new member's occupation (which I'll refrain from mentioning here), and a little about his family.Kelsey & her family enjoyed a day out in Nagoya, and she and Monica for some reason talked about some "Ikemen" thing all the time.....girls! Monica said she was suffering a little from (maybe) the yellow sand being blown over from China recently. Is there anything NOT coming from China these days?Catherine enjoyed dates with her husband riding up & down the Sanyo line using a "Rainbow Pass" card which costs ¥2000 and can be used for 7 days. You know that is really cheap if you're familiar with the ordinary ticket fares on the Sanyo! Abigail said her Golden Week was not so good (she didn't mention why, I think), but she received a pair of walking shoes for an early Mother's Day gift, so she was happy!Talking about Mother's day - perfectly matching, and not by coincidence -And today's cake, Pound cake with a light lemon flavour - one piece each!:Have a great weekend - Valentino, really hope to see you again!The "Master"
