I guess we had the most "international" day the Cafe has ever seen (well, maybe...).
Why? What happend?
Well, today we could welcome Katie, a Japanese lady (although "Katie" is a English name), who spent a big deal of her
life in the U.S, somewhere in Virginia (correct me if I'm wrong), and naturally spoke very "native" American English!

Obviously, Abigail, Jade, Ashley, Crystal and Alexandria probably did feel a little pressure (and Japanese "hesitation"?), but I think a special visitor like Katie is a big chance for everybody for improving, training and brushing up their hard-learned English........so, be motivated!

Oh, by the way, today's phrase was this one (haven't I just read this somewhere a second ago?)

We also didn't really know from which country "Singalese" people are from -  do you know?
After consulting various high-tech, electronic dictionaries we found out that it meant people from
Sri Lanka. See, you can learn something everyday, not only language!

And our sweet once again was "marshmallow cake" (we still had some marshmallows left!), but last time they were
served on a Saturday, so I'm forgiven, right?

But I DIDN'T use the same picture!     Look!

So, enjoy the last warm & sunny days, and see you all soon!
